About the Role:
Shopify is seeking a dynamic Revenue Marketing Manager to join our Retail team, focusing on the extensibility portfolio for Shopify Point of Sale. In this role, you will drive the commercialization strategies for extensibility, targeting both partners and merchants.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for Shopify’s developer tools within the retail sector. 
  • Create compelling product narratives and positioning for UI extensions, considering merchants and partner needs, the product roadmap and market trends. 
  • Zero in on the technical and practical needs of the developer audience, aiming to achieve meaningful engagement rather than a wide reach.  

Go-to-Market planning: 

  • Own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for the extensibility portfolio including new launches and growth campaigns. 
  • Develop a high impact content strategy that addresses partner and merchant developer interests including technical documentation, tutorials, and case studies. 

Partner and Merchant engagement: 

  • Craft targeted marketing campaigns to drive awareness, adoption, and advocacy of extensibility among the partner ecosystem. 
  • Develop vertical-specific sales materials. 
  • Foster trust and engagement with the developer community and gather feedback to improve products and services. 

Qualifications 

  • 5 years of experience in revenue-driven marketing, product marketing or developer marketing fields. 
  • Strong understanding of B2B and B2D SaaS product marketing. 
  • Proven experience in driving global commercialization strategies. 
  • Expertise in Go-to-Market planning and execution. 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changes. 
  • Experience working closely with developer marketing teams, product development, sales and business development, and marketing teams. 
  • Passion for retail technology and a desire to become a retail industry expert.
