About the role

As a Senior Revenue Marketing Manager you’ll work to gain a strong understanding of our products, the merchants segments we serve, our competitor set and develop powerful solution narratives that either drive product adoption amongst existing merchants or help attract new merchants to Shopify. You’ll own and foster critical relationships with leaders across product, commercial, UX, and other marketing teams to develop and improve solution narratives, evergreen marketing assets and sales enablement materials. You will measure your impact not solely based on the success of your portfolio, but also on your ability to influence and level up adjacent products, processes, and teams.

Responsibilities:

Develop clear and compelling product narratives and positioning by understanding merchant and partner needs, product roadmap, market trends, and competitive forces.
Define the go to market strategy to enable successful product launches and accelerate product growth by working cross functionally with Product Management, UX, Engineering, Marketing, PR, Support, Data and Revenue Operations and Sales.
Create strategies to drive product success through merchant awareness, adoption, and advocacy by understanding merchant needs, product roadmap, market trends, and competitive forces
Help influence the products we’re building through deep market analysis, competitive research and merchant/partner feedback. Collaborate with product teams to optimize product elements that boost user engagement and alleviate product issues and gaps.
Run A/B tests to optimize user messaging strategies and quantitatively test hypotheses pertaining to acquisition and engagement strategies
Create compelling sales assets to support merchant facing teams in achieving their goals through the product narrative you have developed.
Identify KPIs, set targets, and analyze the results of product launches and growth efforts against those targets
Communicate effectively and often to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned

Requirements for the Role:

Extensive experience in marketing, product marketing, product or a customer consulting role
The ability to thrive in uncertainty, resolve ambiguity and think quickly on your feet
Experience driving product growth
Excellent communication and organizational skills, while being able to stay focused on the big picture and pay attention to details
A resourceful attitude and positive negotiation skills — you'll be working with a lot of different teams across Shopify as well as with external partners
